St. Mary's Church, Teddington
£25.00
There has been a church on this site for over a thousand years!
When Teddington was only a small fishing community, this building stood on lands belonging to the Benedict Abbey of Westminster. Gradually over the centuries, the church grew and by the 16th century, the construction of the south aisle took place.
Today, this is the oldest part of the building and the Tudor brickwork can be seen on the outer wall.
Pen & wash photo-litho print on A4 size card Limited Edition 800.
